Sport Recife v Criciúma
Our call
We looked at this match and did not find a call worth making. That can change as team news comes in: calls are looked at again every fifteen minutes until kick-off, so one can change or come down, and each closes when the match starts. the bet slip stays exactly as posted.
Sport Recife v Criciúma is one to leave alone. There is a likely outcome here, but every bookmaker has it shorter than it deserves, so there is nothing to take.
Preview
Criciúma should edge this tactical battle by staying disciplined while Sport Recife continues to struggle with poor decision-making. Though the visitors sit 5th in the table, they have been unfortunate to concede 11 goals recently from situations usually worth just 7. Both managers see their teams fire away from low-quality positions, managing only 18 and 23 shots on target respectively across their last 6 outings. Sport Recife remains 8th as Mariano Soso works to settle his system, but Umberto Louzer has found a tighter balance. Expect the 3-4-2-1 visitors to remain patient, relying on their defensive stability to neutralize the 4-2-3-1 setup. Ultimately, the ability to keep a clean sheet will decide the winner.
